Unknown, unfortunately. I would like to know if this book cover is recognized demi-mon-daine: It’s a beautiful cover - thank you for submitting it! It is a copy of Jane Eyre, with the cover illustration and engravings by Fritz Eichenberg. Per this Allison Morris post at Publisher’s Weekly, it was published by Random House in 1943. There are several images of the illustrations at the link above, including this beauty:
