Scarce. This edition precedes that with the inclusion of the 28 plates by Henry Moses after Retsch. Coleridge claimed that he “had never put pen to paper as a translator of Faust”, yet Goethe in a letter to his in 1820 stated that Coleridge was well under way with his translation.
